Become a member of the NDBKA
Types of Membership
Registered Member
If you have bees you need to be a Registered member. The basic membership fee of £35.00 includes affiliation to the British Beekeepers Association (BBKA), the Dorset BKA, and Bee Disease Insurance (BDI).
Partner Member
If your partner is a Registered Member and you live at the same address you should become a Partner Member if you assist with beekeeping activities. The annual subscription of £13.50 includes affiliation to the BBKA.
Friend Member
If you wish to join in Association activities but have no beekeeping qualifications or experience, you may join as a Friend Member. The annual subscription of £14.00 includes all activities of the association.
Associate Member
A member who does not currently keep bees but who has completed training or, in the opinion of the trustees, has appropriate experience, may join the North Dorset BKA as an Associate Member. The annual subscription of £14.00 includes all activities of the association.
